BRS big pharma balling method package

Has anyone used the BRS big pharma balling method package. Experiences?

This method is still rather new. I am using it with a low demand tank so I am only using Part c right now. I am about 9 months in. I still have 9 months or so to go before I start using the other 2 parts.

Balling method is new? I'm not sure that is completely accurate.

The BRS TM hybrid method is still new. Less than 2 years.

Yea it’s the same just using BRS A and B instead on tropic Marin.
It’s a method that’s been around forever

Not exactly. It is a variant. Same principals but different ingredients. It entails using BRS chemicals for Alk, Ca, and Mg. BRS started using it when they did their Reefer 170. They just started adding the Parts of TM A and B. You run the tank for a year to a year and a half with just Part C. It will take 2 - 3 years to see how well it works.
The Balling method is a proven way that has been around for a long time. Tropic Marin and Aquaforest make full set ups for it, including Alk, Ca, and Mg plus the trace elements and the NaCl free salt. With BRS using Pharmacy Grade chemicals, the main ingredients are of a higher caliber. The ratios of the TM products would be the only questionable part of this.It should be perfectly fine. But it will take a few years to actually find out. TM worked with BRS to come up with the ratios and it is my understanding TM gave their endorsement, which is why I am using it personally.
