Brs bio pellets

I didn't like them, they seem to sluff a lot junk off and clog my reactor. Switch to NPX and a lot happier.

Ecobak. Nuff said.

I don't trust when a vendor will not specify what's I'm his product. Brs and Tim's do say what they use Tim's even tell you who makes them plus rick the same issue you get with Tim's pellets and every other pellets you get with ecobak not able to fully control phosphates they all blow nitrates away. It's not a problem for me cause I run an algae scrubber but I'm just looking for cheaper solution cause some how the get consume really fast

I’ve been running BRS pellets for about five months. My skimmer has been kicking out gunk that you would not believe. I think a big plus for me is that the exit on the biopellet reactor is right next to the pick-up of my skimmer. Here’s a picture of that. The clear tube in the top of the photo is the exit pipe of the reactor.

I've tried bio crush and brs. Personally, I like brs pellets better because they are bigger and they tumble easier.

I started out with Tim's and they worked great. I also switched the BRS much cheaper. I have not really noticed a difference in one working better than another. The BRS are slightly larger. I keep my output from bio reactor enters the sump chamber for skimmer and not noticed one causing more or less skim mate. My phos and nitrates are still at zero.
