I have run BRS Rox 0.8 for the past few years and I'm generally happy with it.

Seems to work and is super clean.

However, I was thinking of trying to save a few $$$ and go with the BRS Bituminous on Black Friday.

Has anyone had experience with BRS Bituminous or thoughts on using it?

Is Rox 0.8 really worth price differential?

Thanks.

If you would like to save some money, consider red sea carbon, Its pretty cheap and is comparable to rox on the few numbers I could find on it. I have used both and they both rinse super fast and I can't tell a difference in water quality.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

As far as bituminous goes, it will work. It is much more dusty but not as bad as something like API carbon. I believe its sort of a middle grade

I have used BRS Rox 0.8 and BRS Lignite. If Rox 0.8 isn't available I would use BRS Lignite. Its cheaper than Rox 0.8.
