BRS Calcium Chloride levels

.. in a freshly mixed gallon jug what should the level in side the jug be?

Hard to say unless you know the dimentions. A jug thats 12" wide by 3" tall will need less than say a jug thats 4"wide by 13" tall. Whats the dimentions?

Im not exactly sire what their formula is but on their calculator, to raise calcium with their calcium chloride product for a 100 gallon aquarium required 1022.1 ml of it to raise calcium from 300ppm to 400ppm.

Maybe I'm missing the point, but...2 1/2 cups of Calcium Chloride in enough RO/DI water to make 1 gallon of solution. So, it should be full. I usually start with the container about 2/3 full of RO/DI water, add the CaCl, shake until dissolved, and fill to the top with RO/DI water and give it a final shake.

I may not understand the question, but the total volume should be 1 gallon in my DIY recipe (not 1 gallon of water plus chemicals) so the jug will be nearly full. :)
