I am using BRS 2 part dosing, and my current calcium is at 400 PPM. I want to find my daily consumption figured out so I can start dosing regularly. I know 400 isn't bad, but I would like to maintain at 425. I used the BRS calculator and it told me to dose 358.24ml of Liquid Calcium Chloride to reach my desired level. I'm probably just over thinking it, but does this sound like a huge dosage for a 25 PPM increase?

What size tank, that is right on for about 140 gallons.

It can take what seems like a lot. I have to bring up instant ocean every time I mix some and have always thought the same.

Don't forget you're trying to raise the entire tank 25 parts per million. Think of how much salt it takes to get your tank started and that's around 420-440ppm.

Check out how much magnesium it takes to raise it 200 parts per million on your tank. That's an eye opener lol
