Brs Co2 Scrubber ...canisters? Help.

CAN I FIRE UP MY NEWLY INSTALLED BRS RECIRCULATING CO2 SCRUBBER? OR HOUSTON, DO WE HAVE A PROBLEM?
Does it matter what type internal MEDIA canister is used with the BRS co2 Scrubber? Mine came with the type used for rodi resin, whereas in the brs video and instruction descriptions they use the type that is used with their Carbon Reactor? Are both ok, or did i get the wrong one? And if ok to use this one what do i do withe extra sponge on this one, because it already has sponges built into the top and bottom and I'm filling it to the max. Thanks!

That’s the same one that came with my scrubber and it works just fine. Keep the sponge as a spare as the one at the bottom falls apart after about a year or so.

I agree, have the same one and it works great. I didn't know the "extra" sponge was actually an extra, so I put it in the bottom of the canister. Just air going through, so I guess as long as it is sealed should be fine.

Thank you so much, waited since yesterday to start running this. Hows it worked for you? Do you run with ph controller?

Thanks! I think your right about the sponge, it should be fine, just a little e tra space between the media and any possible water.
