Couple questions?

Do these codes look right? I am looking to dose 22 ml of Cal during the day and 22 ml of Alk at night. 22ml is my starting point per day.

[Cal]
Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/002:13/057:47 Then ON
If Time 19:00 to 09:59 Then OFF

[Alk]
Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/001:49/058:11 Then ON
If Time 08:00 to 21:59 Then OFF
If pH > 8.30 Then OFF

I used this site (http://www.reeftronics.net/adpg/dosingcalc.php/) to get the codes, have you guys used this before?

I have no idea. No clue what is right

OK so your goal is " to dose 22 ml of Cal during the day and 22 ml of Alk at night"
What is night and what is day to you? I will do this 'cause you're are not clear to me. I divided the day into 2 sections evenly.
Day: 8am to 8pm
Night: 8pm to 8am
Note: I think it is better, BETTER, to dose throughout the day for both of them. Just don't dose both at the same time. a 15 minutes apart should be enough to avoid precipitation.....
so from your request with the tool provided by @RussM I got this.

1.1 ml/min type
[Cal outlet]
Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/001:40/058:20 Then ON
If Time 20:00 to 07:59 Then OFF
If pH > 8.35 Then OFF

[Alk outlet]
Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/001:40/058:20 Then ON
If Time 08:00 to 19:59 Then OFF
If pH > 8.35 Then OFF

<snip>

I agree. Dose both 24/7. My code generated by Reeftronics code generator. I am dosing 110ml/day of alkalinity and 100ml/day of calcium. Calcium is dosed 20 minutes after the alkalinity.

[alkalinity]
Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/004:10/055:50 Then ON
If pH > 8.35 Then OFF

[calcium]
Fallback OFF
OSC 020:00/003:47/036:13 Then ON
If pH > 8.35 Then OFF

Thank you. I think I understand how this code is written. From what I see this code breaks it up by the hr. Also I was told to dose Alk at knight to help with the nightly PH drop.

Everyone has their own way of doing it. I dose throughout the night. I start an hr after the lights turn off and stop the hr they turn on.

The key is consistency and not a lot at once.

Very true. Trying to get that balance. So far so good
