BRS Doser on light timer

Is this a safe way to run a brs doser for kalkwasser? Plan on running it 8x a day via a light timer. My only concern is if the timer failed, and it keeps the pump contiguously running. Any recommendations on how to go about this?

Honestly, if reliability was your concern, get a mechanical one. Less likely to have goofy WiFi or app issues that cause it to get stuck on or off. I think you could try it, but every piece of equipment has a fail risk to assume.

Mechanical is the way. I have light timers for my house and they do what they want all the time.
