I've searched a few older threads...and want to make sure I got this right. I tried hooking up a doser to outlet 1 on the EB8...and it wouldn't shut off even when I turned the outlet off. Had to manually unplug it. Will the BRS dosers only work on outlets 4 & 8 on the old EB8?

I also have the newer EB832...will they work on any of those outlets? If that's the case...I could plug them in to outlets 1-3 or 5-7 on the EB832.

Got 3 I need to hook up. Thanks.

EB832 is all solid state relays, any outlet works.

For the EB8, only use outlet 4 and 8 (which are the solid state ones).

Basically on a non-solid state outlet, it relies on the draw of the device to "open" the circuit (cut the power). So a low draw device may not open that circuit, and it continues to run.

On a solid-state outlet, the opening and the closing of the circuit is powered in itself- not relying on a minimum power draw.

Awesome! That will come in handy for sure.

It’s great, I have my BRS dosers going every hour, with the calcium at the beginning of the hour, the alkalinity at the middle, and magnesium at 45. So there is no precipitation. Even the apex DOS doesnt do that! (Oscillating with offsets)
