Hey guys I have a question. I bought a whole setup today and it came with a brs dual reactor but no wrench. Just wondering if anyone knows where to get one and or what size the wrench is? There on pretty tight and I can't even hand open it lol.

Call BRS and I'm sure they would send you one free of charge. They have great customer service.

Just use the wrench that is used on rodi systems. They are the same canisters. If not wrap a towel around the canister, secure the reactor to a mounting point and twist. It will let go.

Thanks I didn't have any wrenches but I got it off by hand luckily.
Do you guys use only the brs carbon and go or are there any cheaters places to get it?

Marine depot sells the 3500ml vertex rox carbon for $39.99 then $4.99 for shipping. Thats where I get my carbon from.

Sweet I have some marineland one right now I'm going to try out. What about gfo Any other good brands?

I prefer the rox carbon because it absorbs a good bit and is very easy to rinse because it is very low dust. Brs also sells rox carbon

Amazon also sells the wrench for $4.79 with free shipping HERE.
