I am thinking about getting the dual reactor for my new tank. I have a question about it. I am wanting to run bio pellet and carbon.
1st, if I do run both should I run the carbon 2nd then have the drain line go to the skimmer?
2nd, since I'll have around 100 total water is bio pellet worth it or should I jest run gfo.
There will be very little fish maybe 5 with a mix or lps Sps soft and a clam.

I personally woulnt run carbon and bio pellets on the same reactor. I found that i had a bit more flow running through my bio pellets than i do through my carbon. I also find it much easier to run carbon on its own reactor because of frequency of replacement and ease of flushing the dust off the new carbon.

I tried running biopellets with a BRS dual reactor and just couldn't get enough flow through the reactor to get sufficient biopellet tumbling.

Do not run bio pellets with the dual reactor. Its designed for gfo and carbon. Use a reactor that is specific to bio pellets
