BRS DUEL REACTOR USES

I have two brs reacters, one is a single and the other is a duel. i run cheap DR TIMS bio pellets in the single reactor, and carbon on the right side of the duel reactor, the left side of the duel reactor is empty at the moment, what can i run in there any ideas,

second i do have a nitrate problem about 50+ and have order a better bio pellet. to replace my current pellets in my single reactor . can i have two small bio pellet reactors running? and has anyone ever ran bio pellets inline with an before carbon reactor.

maybe i make the entire duel reactor bio pellets and the single reactor carbon. i just upgraded to a 150g tank and cant really afford new larger reactor. i wonder why( tank purchase)

That's what I would do. Do you have a refugium? If not, that will likely help with overall nutrient export as well. My refugium, along with my bio pellet reactor and skimmer do too good of a job. I have taken my skimmer off-line at night and reduced the quantity of pellets and am still battling chronically low nutrients. Always 0 NO3, 0 PO4.
