BRS Freeze Dried Mysis

I ordered some of the Bulk Reef Supply freeze dried Mysis in case I'm unable to get frozen food due to everything going on. I tried feeding it the other day and can't get it to sink at all. Do I need to soak it in some tank water for a bit?

I would soak a portion in some tank water for 5 min or so and then add to the tank. Anything freeze dried needs some water to soak up in order to hydrate it again.
