I just want to make sure i'm not doing something wrong. on the BRS GFO non high capacity calculator it says for 125 gal tank I need 2 cups of GFO? That would literally fill the entire reactor. Am I doing something wrong here? Seems like a lot of GFO

Use at least half of what is recommended. Also go more by your fish load than actual tank size.

I use 4-5 ounces on my 90g system with a medium bio load that is heavily fed. That will last me a month.

I would start with 6-8 ounces in your case and go from there. I also have low flow through the reactor....less than 100gph.
