Hi friends, about 11 days ago it is running in my tank an GFO reactor of BRS with resin that they sell.

My Po4 was initially at 0.36 ppm, how long it may take for the GFO take effect and stabilize achieve an appropriate measure?

I have not had time to measure parameters after adding the GFO reactor.

What are your experiences with this resin?

My experience is similar to bio pellets in that less is more. I eventually took my GFO reactor offline entirely because of ultra low nutrient issues. Since doing so my corals have colored up very well, but this really depends on your bio load. If yours is heavy, you may need to run it longer or change it more often; compared to smaller quantities and changing out less frequently. Test your water every few days for a while, see where you're at and you will be able to determine how much for how long.

The effect of GFO can be quite rapid, and if the phosphate stays high (say, above 0.2 ppm) for more than a day or two (with good flow through the GFO), the GFO is likely mostly depleted.
