Any know how to regenate pro series resin. I'm running the anion, cation, then the mix bed. Would regen of the anion and cation be the same as regening of the mix beds once separates. Use lye and muratic acid?

I'm going to use there 3 resin system. First chamber is the cation, second is the anion, therd is the mix bed. I want to regen the cation, and the anion only, with the 3 filter system the anion will deplete fastest. Followed by the cation. And with them being separated I would like to regen them so I don't habe to always by new. The max bed in the 3rd chamber will last the longest and not worried about just replacing. Brs says the anion will deplete at a 3:1 ratio to the cation. So that means anion will be changed 3 times before the cation. Needs to be changed. Well that's there theory at least. So can I use lye and muratic acts to regen it. I know the standard mix beds can be regenerated with lye and muratic acid once searsted into the cation and anion. So I'm hoped I can do the same with the pro series cation and anion since they are already separated.
Hope this explains it a little better

Thanks Randy. Co2 kills my resin so I'm changing my entire ro system and remove co2 before going into resins. And with these being separated already it will be much easier to regen if they are able to be be regen using lye and acid.

You can regenerate separate resins as well as mixed bed resins. For separate resins, the cation resin receives the acid, while that anion resin gets the base. I've got to believe these exchange resins are similar, and therefore I would simply follow the instructions for regenerating a Kati-Ani system....a separate resin deionizer.

Oops, I just looked at the Kati-Ani regeneration instructions and the one thing I'd change would be to flush with RO/DI water....not tap water.
