Hey all,

Just got the 6 stage RODI system hooked up and to my surprise it’s getting a lot of pressure. This one states ideal pressure is at 65-80. I am producing 90-92. Should I dial it down? TDS going in is 19 and after di 0. Just want to make sure I’m doing it right.

Thanks in advance!

The pressure they are referring to is the supply side into the unit. I have a pressure valve on my house that reduces incoming line pressure to 60psi, so that is what goes into the RO unit.
(My ro TDS effluent is higher than your input. I wish I had your water supply.)

I was going to run this in my garage and was worried it gets cold in the winter. Went down to the basement just to check out the lines and right after the water comes into the house someone added a spiket. I think this is the reason I am getting such good pressure since there is nothing corrupting the flow at that point.
