Having problems on how to use this should the flow valve be on when making rodi water or should it be off
Or when should I turn it on ?
Posted a picture of what I am talking about thank you

When making rodi water it should be in the position you have in your pic. When flushing the membrane then turn it off

Okay so when I make water it should be one then
When do I flush ?
And should the rodi water that comes out be coming or fast if so wow so long for taking for ever in making water

When you start making the water you should have the switch facing up.
You should flush your membrane before and after every time to reduce tds creep.
Water sadly takes a long time to be made. So ro/di water will come out slowly.
And yes as the unit is working it will make a slight hissing sound.

Think of it as a ball valve. The configuration in the picture would indicate the valve is closed. and when the handle is in-line with the hose then water is free to flow through unrestricted thus allowing the membrane to be flushed.

What makes that valve different is that when it's in the closed position it has a precise orifice that restricts the water just enough to force water through the membrane to be filtered. FYI the size of the orifice dictates the rejection ratio.

Yeah the thing is I been making water for 1 and some minutes and I almost have a 5 gallon jug done is that normal if it is this unit is worth every penny I used to make 5 gallons every 2 1/2
Or so

Can you edit your post? the first sentence doesn't make sense.

Is that coming out of the black line? Is so that’s the waste water. Even a 75 GPD unit should take a couple hours to fill a 5 gallon bucket.
Also, BRS has a couple videos on how to set up that unit.

tds is 0ppm there is a meter there that is telling me that ...yes is the 75 gpd I believe ,
And sorry I saw it did not make sense.
I meant I been making water for 1 hour and some minutes and I almost have the 5 gallon jug full.

Should be lined up with water line for flow. In the pix- it’s in the CLOSED position

You can also get a water saver kit which is a second white tube that’s on top. Will double the water output. Also a booster pump if you psi is low.

I turn my black switch straight with the black line when I first turn my water on for a minute or 2 to flush, then turn it 90 degrees to make useable water, then back straight when I’m done for 2-5 minutes to flush again.

As other have said it is a flush valve. It is used to increase the life of the membrane by flushing built up contanimants from the membrane. It does not remove TDS creep. To remove TDS creep you need a DI bypass valve.
