BRS Rox 0.8 carbon alternative

Hi there just curious what people's experiences are with using other, possibly more cost effective carbons are..

I stumbled across this product and was curious if anyone used before:

I use that exact same TLREEFS stuff off of Amazon.
No complaints but I only run it periodically just to do.

It has good reviews on Amazon but that's about all I can say:

I don't like the ROX carbon at all.

It's too small and gets all over the place - it doesn't stay in reactors well.

If you put it in a mesh bag that may work, but if it's in a mesh bag inside of the reactor I question the flow through it.
