BRS ROX 0.8 issue

I got a new 2 Little Fishies phosban reactor and wanted to run carbon in it. I put my measured out ROX carbon in the reactor and filled it water to rinse... the carbon is floating and does not seem to want to become waterlogged and sink? Its only been about 20 minutes as of writing this that i have left it alone in hopes that it would sink. Still got floaters...

Anyone run into this issue?

I think you need to have a foam sponge to keep the carbon down.

I run all my rox in old chemipure filter socks. This keeps it in one place in the reactor. Sponge will work also but the bag cuts the mess.

Yeah I could wedge the sponge down. I was just surprised to see it float and not go down.

It was floating without any flow going through it
