Hi all,

I set up my BRS Single Carbon/GFO reactor. Hardly any water is coming out of the exit hose. I've adjusted the valve and made sure it's completely open and water is just trickling out.

I am using the pump that came with the kit (Cobalt).

I am wondering if there's some trick or did I get a faulty pump? @Bulk Reef Supply

Picture? And how does the pump flow without being connected

@keddre is this a normal flow?

Seems light

While it's hard to tell flow rate in a picture, that does not look like 295 gph.

I would take the pump apart and make sure it's clean and there's no clogs. If that doesn't fix it, I'm asking for a refund/exchange

Edit: does it have any features that adjusts flow rate, and if so is it turned fully up?

I took apart the reactor, separated the sponges a bit more and put it back together. Flow rate is much better now.

For the leaky valve, I need to make sure it's straight. Ugh

Thanks for your help!!!
