BRS titanium heater check

I believe my BRS titanium heaters might have failed. Does anyone know how to check them to see if they have failed. Can you check resistance on the plug?

I'm in the market for one, and their reviews on their own site are horrible. Stay away I guess.

But to answer your question, if you go with the above, do it underwater at least. But I would just put it in a small container, like a 5 gallon bucket and see if the temp raises when you turn it on.

I’ve had 2 600w heaters fail first one lasted 6 months. 2nd one lasted about 2.5 months

I have a 300W for 8 months no issue. I did buy a spare just incase. I use a Inkbird controller that shows and maintains temp. It will alarm if it fails. Guess that's one way to tell if works...
