BRS Titanium Heater PSA

I’ve had 7 eheims show moisture in the tube in the last 8 yrs. I use titanium now but will never use an eheim fully submerged again. My old 90s eheims seemed to last years and years.
Sounds like they fell prey to making consumers spend more money. Lesser quality products equals more failure which equal more buys

I had the 600 watt fail after 6 months. BRS said they no longer stock the 100W and 600 W because they had so many failures. He said the 300W ones had no issues and they sent me two of them to replace the one 600 W.

Can I see a picture of how you have your heater top out the water? All I’ve heard is fully submerge your heater
The eheims (and a lot of other heaters) have a line designating a minimum water level, you can keep the thermostat dial above the water line if you want to. Though I don't really see the point in doing so unless you're messing with your thermostat often. The thought that it makes them last longer seems to assume that they're not sealed properly
