My 600 watt BRS titanium heater failed last weekend. I've never had bad luck with warranty claims from BRS and thankfully these heaters have a 3 year warranty. Chad from BRS is sending me a new one as soon as they get new stock.

Noice!

I'm going to change my heater setup after this. It looks like I just had it cycling on and off too frequently.

Constant on off cycling is probable for Possibly heater failure . As far as brs service I can’t complain

I bought some as well for a tank I'm putting together this year, nervous about their quality. Reviews don't seem overwhelmingly positive. How long did you run them for?

I switched after 2 titaniums failed on me within one year.

I had my 200 watt heater fail. I sent a note to BRS. No reply. Is there a link for warranty that I am missing?

Did that I got crickets.
I got a fairly quick response, but I also made sure I included all the order information for the original purchase. You should have received an email with the confirmation when you bought the heater. Include that and they'll be able to see that it's still under warranty

It’s taking care of. Hope they figure out their issue. I recieved a new one.

Why would this be a problem on a heater without any thermostat element?
I assume the frequent thermal expansion and contaction the heating element goes through with all that cycling is what causes the failures. It's not because they leak so it must be an internal failure of the element.
