Hello,

I have a question about the BRS two parts.
I have several small pack of calcium and alkalinity that I will mix in a one gallon jug.
The pack for magnesium is 3-4 times as big as the small packs of calcium and alkalinity. Do I really mix the whole thing of magnesium in one gallon?
I've attached pics as reference to how big the pack is.

The solid magnesium chloride hexahydrate and the magnesium sulfate heptahydrate used in my recipes (BRS uses these) are only about 11% magnesium by weight. So it takes a lot to make the solution.

But the magnesium part is dosed much more slowly, so it lasts much longer. About 6 times longer if you are using the sodium carbonate recipe and about 12 times longer if you are using the sodium bicarbonate recipe.
