I guess I'll get this party started :)

I ordered my tank and stand today.....I hope to see it next week. I was going to do something 'different' in regards to the tank, but with the excellent discounts given my MarineDepot, I felt inclined to go with the Eheim Aquastyle 9gal tank & stand. It looks like a fine setup and I'm really looking forward to my FIRST nano. This is actually the smallest tank I've ever setup, in which a 40B has been the smallest tank in the past.

A few "specs" to get started:

Tank: Eheim Aquastyle 9
Stand: Eheim Matching Stand
Powerhead: Ecotech MP10ES
Lighting: LED

I hope we get plenty of entries in the contest and can't wait to see everybody's ideas and creativity.

That's all for now, more to come later :)

I think you should go MP40 but whatever, LOL.

Looking forward to watching your progress!!

Woot this should be good!

An MP10 in a 9 gallon? Can you turn it down enough? lol :) Looking forward to seeing this!

I hope so, haha. I already have the spare MP10 so I'll try it....you can actually turn it down quite a bit. If not, I have some spare Hydor Nano pumps as well.

If you can't turn it down enough, just send it over to me. It will work well in my 20L. :D

Woohoo....looks like I'll be able to get started this weekend:

Yay! I'm still trying to scrape together money for my light fixture.... lol! Can't wait to see it come together!

Ordered a couple things tonight for the tank..... Black acrylic sheet, Weld-On 4, and some black 100% rubber silicone.

Also making a trip to Premium Aquatics this weekend and I'll likely pick up a few small things.

Yeah, as far as a nano goes, I plan for it be a unique setup....yet appeasing to the eye, of course :)

Its here and put together. I put a little sand in it just for looks, but there is more work to be done on the tank before I'm ready to put water in it :)

Acrylic came in for two small projects to support the tank.

Pics (sorry for the blurry pics)
