Ok, figured I'd start a thread on my new 45 gallon sps frag tank. I intend to use this tank to grow of pieces that I have in my display for back up and other higher end sticks. I really enjoy the collecting aspect of this hobby.
Equipment details:
- 45 gallon deep blue rr tank. Bought this second hand, killer deal. 48" x 18" x 12"
- My buddy and his dad were nice enough to build the stand for me
- 4 bulb Aquatic Life T5- going to give this a shot. Two blue plus and a purple and coral plus.
- Trigger systems Emerald 26 sump
- I-Tech 100 skimmer
- 2 x Mp 10 QD- won these in the partner raffle
- eheim compact 3000 return pump
- Blue grow classic frag rack- plan to use this on one side and I have grow out plates for the other side that I plan to lay on bottom of tank.
I have about 15 lbs of established rock and a marine pure block in the sump.
Few pics below. I'll update more this weekend.
