Any one dose this that has clams? Any ill effects on them? I am up to page 30 and have not ready anything about how it reacts with clams.

I personally do not, but I do remember reading that someone was about a week or so in with clams in the tank and did not notice anything negative.

@Donovan Joannes -Your pics are so inspiring & exciting! I can't wait to see my tank looking how it used to :D

I was in tears when all were melted in front of my eyes. I was reluctant to try it out, that was the reason I bought a strip of 4 capsules initially, dose and monitor for 2 days anxiously. Second day, everything looks good except bryopsis, another visit to the pharmacist and wallaa... big smile on my face 18 days after.

I don't blame you! I will probably be in tears also... I have spent so much time (8+ months), hard work and money trying to get rid of it and nothing worked - just got worse [emoji26] I'm very happy this worked for you! [emoji122] [emoji122] [emoji122]

In human treatment resistance to the Azole class can occur when treating repeatedly. Wonder if algea will become resistant?
Someone beings that up in the forum thread that I posted today, I just didn't include it in J. Mayos findings.

Keep in mind that this treatment will release significant amount of nutrients back into the tank once bryopsis was melted. Tested my water recently and i am seeing no3 at 20ppm (might be higher before as mine finished treatment early january). My tank was constantly below 5ppm previously. So extra nutrient exports are required once treatment ended. Happy reefing :D
I was checking phosphates and nitrates up to day 3 and saw a negligible rise in nitrates.
Thanks for pointing that out. I knew there would possibly be a rise in nutrients with all of the die off and removing a lot of the other means of filtration and no water changes. I'll check mine tomorrow and see where things stand.

How long would you say it takes for the treatment to be complete? If we can't see the roots in the rock crevices. Would those extra nutrients fuel gha? But also still be beneficial to our corals growth and color?
The recommendation right now is 14 days. I've noticed an increase in cyano. Many of my corals seem to be showing much better colors in both tanks.

Everything looks WAY happier in my tank now since the bryopsis is gone. It's amazing what just an algae free environment can do in such a short time.

Couldn't agree more. A few of my friend advised me to bring this fellow to a barber shop :)

Anticipation is absolutely killing me! Maybe I'll get lucky and my meds will show up tomorrow [emoji12]

My back doesn't hurt anymore from stooping over my tank with forceps plucking bryopsis till I couldn't stand straight for months on end. Your's won't either!

And broke some sps branches in the process. Am i right? :D

Haha, yeah I already quit pulling it. Pulling it seem to make it spread more and get thicker. I decided I would wait on the meds. For me I have to stand on a three step ladder just to get my arm into the doorway of the canopy and to add insult to injury I can't even reach the bottom without tongs or forceps! So yeah I am so over that :D

Oh yes, pulling bryopsis out of rocks is very bad move. I started with a few strands on zoa's plug. It doesn't take that long before it start popping all over the place. Lesson learned the hard way.

Yes I learned that lesson too :( Mine began when I decided to change salt. The salt did not say that you needed to use another one of their products in conjunction with it for no po4... needless to say went back to my previous salt.
