Sorry I'm a little late with my daily update.... life ya know ;)

Everyone looks happy and healthy.... actually some look even better than they used to LOL. There is white algae all over my tank and some of it is thinned out considerably. I haven't done any perimeter test yet today and plan to do that in a few moments. So I'll post the perimeters along with some pictures in just a little bit. Good Times They Are a-comin'!!! :D

Imo, this is a sign to stop or back off on the dosing of Vibrant. You could be exporting too much.

I agree. They're starving....

I do agree this could potentially be what's wrong with the hammer and birdsnests, but the emerald crab gets nori and has plenty of frustratingly healthy bubble algae. Or he had anyway... before he died. I've been dosing Vibrant once a week since the end of December. Again, I'm not blaming the medicine for anything. I'm quite happy. I only mentioned those things for full documentation.

Well low and behold....my emerald crab just died to. I have had a temp issue also to be fair that I just got straight. Seems weird though. My other inverts are fine though.

I'd be willing to bet mine was due to temp swings. My issue is that it would raise to 84 and I'd have to cool it off. Now I have my heater set at 72 and the tank stays at 79-82. I never had this issue before and all my sps, inverts, etc are all fine.

Ok here are the parameters:

I'm about 4-5 days into my Fluconazole treatment. I dosed 20mg/gal and I'm seeing the algae start to melt and get goopy.
The algae I have looks like green hair algae to me, but it could be some strain of Bryopsis. Either way, if this stuff kills it off, I will do a happy dance.. I've been trying to fight this off for a long time now and it has taken the lives of many corals.

In my 45 gallon the bryopsis turned white quickly and fell apart and I am using Vibrant in the tank at the same time.

In my 9 gallon nano I am also using Vibrant at the same time. The bryopsis turned all goopy also. I also have an outbreak of green cyano (Vibrant). I am on day 12. On day 14 (this Friday), I am going to do a 50% water change and hit it with chemiclean. I will see after that if the bryopsis is gone or not. The dying bryopsis is all mixed in with the cyano so it is hard to say what is left. I will also blast the rocks with a turkey baster prior to the water change to see how much comes off. Blasted the rocks once about a week ago and used a net to capture as much of the floating bryopsis.

Interesting. My palys reacted at first then opened up after a week fully. Now my frogspawn is sulking, unusual also as he's normally bullet proof.

Water change this weekend so see how things perk up
I have a hammer in my nano and a frogspawn in my 45 both look just fine. I'm using both Vibrant and Fluconazole.

My emerald crab seems just fine. It just molted last night. I thought my Rock Flower Anemone was trying to eat the emerald crab. The RFA was trying to eat the empty shell. Pretty much had the whole shell in its mouth. After about an hour it spit it out. At one point it with the body and legs sticking out of its mouth, the RFA looked like the creature from alien that comes out of the egg.

And more....
Some locations it's nearly gone

Oh man Jackie, your tank is looking good! All your corals look much happier! Even with high PO4! :)

Thank you Rick :D I think so too. I am dosing 10ml of nopox daily and have been. Hopefully the po4 doesn't rise any higher. I've been considering putting the skimmer back online but concerned it may take meds out of the tank. So what are you think I'm only on day 4?

I turned my skimmer on after 4 days. I did not want nutrients climbing too high. I also read a couple of messages where the user did not turn off their skimmer, so I decided to turn on mine.
