I had mine off for 2 days then turned it back on for 4 and just dumped it back in the sump incase it took any of the meds out..... not sure this was the right thing to do but I want it gone

Hi Guys, a friend just made the fluconazole treatment (100% success killing BR), but he report euphyllias dying 3 days after treatment (1 case does do not say anything but wondering...). Anyone with euphyllias issues?
I have a whole bunch of them and they actually looked more full. So I'd say no issues.

I'd say my Bryposis is 97% gone, a few tuffs!

My rock nem is NOT happy. he's been tightly closed and moving around his rock constantly. I don't have a proper QT for nems (meaning, poor lighting, and I don't want to spend 100's for lighting at this time). I am itching to do a WC, but it's only 1 week into the treatment, too soon. I am torn, what should I do?
My rbta's had no problems, they're looking and acting normal

I dont if anyone ask this question but what site did can you buy these pills without a prescription?

FWIW, this seems to be working in the Bryopsis in my nano tank after a week or so. I've been pulling some out with brownish edges and the green seems to be turning a bit translucent and just generally not very healthy looking. And it doesn't seem to be regrowing.

Just got out of the hospital after 5 days with a bad case of Valley Fever which is from bacteria in the soil in parts of the southwest. Treatment? Fluconazole intravenous for 4 of the days I was in the hospital and then 400 MG per day for 30 days when I got out. Blew my mind that I was taking the same meds that kills Bryopsis . So if any of you get Bryopsis internally.... ;)

Not funny (sorry you're ill, hope you recover quickly!) but funny [emoji12]

I live in AZ also. Just to clarify, Valley Fever is caused by "fungus spores" in the soil. We had to have our dog tested for it about a year ago. That's why fluconazole works on VF since it is fungus based vs bacteria.

I lost a hammer frag, but I used Fluconazole tablets (unknown effects of binders) and the frag had been in my tank less than a week..

Can anyone tell me if Fluconazole is safe to use in a tank with Seahorses and pipe fish? I have read in this and other threads safe for all fish, coral and inverts but I cannot find any info specific to them.

Do yall think this stuff will kill off the white film you get when you carbon/ vodka dose?
I don't believe so. That film from my understanding is bacteria. Maybe you're dosing more than is needed for your system. I suggest you visit the Reef Chemistry forum here and ask Randy about it [emoji6]

Manny try Vibrant for that - there is a thread here on it. just GO SLOW will lower your Phos and No2 really fast. Can bring on some Cyano if you go fast.
