I would say you have around 25 gallons of water volume and use 2.5-3 capsules. Keep your GFO running during the treatment to help export phosphates from the dying algae. Water change before treatment.Wait 14-21 days before another water change. Good luck and I hope your treatment is successful.

couple things I've noticed about this treatment... much like human skin exposure while on a antibiotic cycle, the bryopsis that is in direct light target is the first to burn/melt away. I have some of that heathen weed that is behind the rock and out of light strike that is take a LOT longer to dissolve than the exposed stuff. Also note that the Aptaisia that I have in the tank is starting to panic and spew the lacerations. Might be symptomatic of the Fluco dosage or not, just sharing my observations.

Day 10 and the only noticeable remaining is in the hidden away dark corners of the tank. CUC is starting to hunt and forage now since food source is low.

Remove carbon if you are running it and try to get light on shaded areas if possible. Good luck.

I know that you're hopeful but the aptasia will return. And you may find that you have more than you thought you did.

took a before photo. Water change done, removed Chempur and purgen. dosed with 2.5 capsules. Now to wait

I had to go back and edit all three of my YouTube videos on this treatment to basically demand that people read this thread first- at least the first page and FAQ. People are so desperate that they just want to jump into it without getting the correct info. Plus several videos are popping up that are either incomplete information or misinformation [emoji26]

The YouTubers are the ones that really kill me... as many of them are now over sensationalizing it to grab attention and subscribers as if it were their find! Granted my videos are not perfect but I do comment that at the time that I was doing the videos and it was all experimental. Then I updated comments and such as to what became fact. I also stated where the information came from in the first place LOL. I'm pretty sure I'm the first one that did a video on the process. Personally I could care less about having subscribers... I have very little time as it is. R2R and the rest of my life have my time [emoji12]
