Lol that's too funny! Well I will be sure to let him know. He lives in my neighborhoodHes a good dude, he was one of the people i was speaking with last night about it. I dont think he believed im the one that actually shared this info with r2r, nor i dont think he believed fluconazole went up 20% on one of those fish med websites because of this treatment lol!
He comes to my house all the time and I'm the one he talks about that gave him all the acro's on his videos. Yes he's a good guy, means well but doesn't think before doing (a lot) and eventually will get it lol. The thing is I JUST got done explaining to him about how misinformation or not giving the whole story and rushing and not giving or getting all the correct order of treatment that's needed can have serious consequences - 30 minutes later he posted the video [emoji15]That's great! You had ghaI pulled as much as I could off by hand and then dipping 3 days in peroxide and mine vanished
H202 doesn't kill bryopsis.Yes did that, had to go put it in comments myself in his previous video on it. I commented on this one also with the thread link lolHe knows the info, should tell him to put it in his video description so noone gets confused
It is better not to at least in the beginning. But you can run it turned down with the cup off if it's needed for 02. Otherwise it can remove some of the meds.So...skimmer or no skimmer while treating? I have seen people going both ways. If it works fine with a skimmer going, I plan to go that route when I start tomorrow.
Nice! Wish i had one of the people i subscribe to as a neighbor. Lol yea he needed some acros in there.Lol that's too funny! Well I will be sure to let him know. Lol yeah I gave him 18-20 maybe more I lost track lol. He was very happy [emoji2] I have a couple people that live in my County but Paul lives only a few minutes away. He really is a great guy, just has much to learn yet. He was helping me get a bunch of fragging done for another r2r forum member just a few days agoNice! We get hooked and then when something bad happens we'll go to the ends of the earth to save it! Lol yep, that's addiction [emoji12]Dosed. 1200 mg using the days dose of vodka did not help with the solubility at all. Skimmer running without collection cup and turned down keeping the bubbles in the neck.
I gave everything a good feeding before I dosed. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Right now I am more worried about my black cap Gramma swimming in his cupramined hospital tank. He's not really happy in there.
I hate this hobby at times. I was quickly reminded by the aquarium gods why I should get a pet rock this time.
Ich
Velvet
Bryopsis
What next?
I am literally sitting here fuming because if this black cap. I got impatient and introduced the potters angel earlier than I should have. He could have been saved with a copper QT. Black cap got it and looks like the velvet is going away but he is suffering. My falcos hawk is refusing food. The only happy fish are the ones I don't want. Two PJ cards and a banggai. At least my cleaner shrimp is happy, he molted today. We get hooked and then when something bad happens we'll go to the ends of the earth to save it! Lol yep, that's addiction [emoji12]
Sorry about your fish, I had a run in with velvet about 6-8 years ago and it killed a 150g full of fish except the one who gave it to them. I still have the evil coral beauty. Hopefully yours survive. Fluconazole WILL be a win for you and give you something to look forward to.I am literally sitting here fuming because if this black cap. But I stop and think about all the money I hosed away on a hobby that seldome has a happy ending. 3rd foray into it and this one blew up fast. Regardless, bryopsis death will be a huge victory and I can start all my other battles back up.
Lol well that's what we're here for! [emoji12]Well, after I get this x in the win column I'm going to start 100's of threads that start with the word help.
You're welcome! R2R is a community that has each other's back as best we can. Great people hereNot the right thread for it. But, THANK YOU folks. I have tried other boards and the level of unwillingness to help others who want to enjoy a hobby is astounding. Reef2reef will be my internet home I suspect. Really, you guys are awesome.

I pulled my out just in case ( not that it was doing any good anyway in the chamber of a Biocube. Wondering if I can keep it alive in a container of SW with led lights?Back to fluconazole... I did make a discovery by not doing a water change since a month ago when I begin treatment. It will eventually cause chaeto to break down. Now this could be possibly because it was already damaged by vibrant and didn't get a chance to recover from it. So I am posting this to give you a chance to put your chaeto in a bucket of saltwater if you don't want to take a chance.
