I'll be documenting my tank with pictures as well. Received my Fluconazole yesterday and will dose after my major water change tomorrow. I'm so ready to get my tank back. Been battling major Algae and Cyano for months. Finally beat the Cyano now its time for this to die! Thanks NCreefguy and others for being the pioneers.

I see tablets for sale on Amazon, but not capsules. Are people using tablets successfully, or is there some place I don't know about to get capsules?

I put in an order just now. Bryopsis is one of the very reasons why I got out of the hobby years ago.
Anyone here using the Fish Fluconazole 200mg along with Red sea NOPOX treatment? Wondering if I can use both at the same time or not?

Yes I did and it was fine :)

Don't be discouraged. I am at day 21 and didn't get total decimation of my algae. But I am going in that direction. It is deff more manageable and I can see a silver lining on the horizon! I will prob do a second dose, and I feel that my algae crew are more apt to eat the leftover algae than they would have before the treatment.

Started my treatment exactly 7 days ago. Total water volume is about 240G and I dosed 20 pills. Within 3 days the bryopsis had turned white and was looking bad. After 5 days, my foxface and tangs were picking at the few pieces that had survived (but still white). Today, I can't find a single feathery piece anywhere in my system. HUGE WIN!

A few details:

-I had been dosing Vibrant for a month before this but it didn't seem to be making any dents in the bryopsis.
-I physically removed my skimmer and carbon reactors from the system. They'll get a full washdown with vinegar, 24 hrs drying and then I'll put them back online.
-I've been dosing small amounts of DIY No3po4x the whole time. I've been running it using a dosing pump for 6 months and I didn't see any need to stop.
-I haven't done any water changes yet.
-I haven't dosed Vibrant since starting the Fluconazole but plan to start as soon as the treatment is over.
-I stopped feeding my corals (was doing it twice a week before) to avoid my nutrients from getting out of control.
-NO CORALS HAVE SHOW ANY NEGATIVES! My tank is primarily SPS with a mix of small/expensive frags (Walt Disney, Pink Floyd, etc..) and large Indo and Ausie acro colonies. I have some Zoas and lots of Torches as well.
-My inverts are all happy and so are my fish.
-The only result of dosing the medication is that my plague of bryopsis is over!

Just done a second dose. After three and a half weeks the GHA has weakened and I've scrubbed as much as possible off before re-treating. It was difficult to remove any of the algae, although pale and short it still seems to have a strong hold on the rocks. When dosing the fluconazole this time I turned off all pumps for about 3/4 of an hour and used a turkey baster to apply the dissolved medication directly to the algae. I've replaced the dirty filter sock with a clean 200 micron sock and turned the skimmer off, also did a normal 10% water change before adding new meds. I kept the skimmer off for about two and a half weeks the first time round. Fingers crossed. I have tried spot dosing the algae with H2O2 and it wipes it out very quickly but don't want to do this on all the rock, unless this treatment doesn't work, as corraline algae has only just started growing on the pukani that makes up most of my rocks. I should add that my nitates are still undetectable, salifert, and phosphates are 0.008 using a Elos low range test kit for po4.

For those deals by with the trifecta :bubble algae/ cyano/ gha( and bryopsis) ...
( ya I know! I was prepared to admit defeat and break down the seahorse tank before this weekend thread! High nutrient nightmare!)
Was planning to dose fluc.. then lights out for cyano .. then figure out the BA.
Is there a better order to deal with these plaques? I'm hearing Vibrant for BA.. but that it encourages the other nuisance issues?
