Hey!

Live in Canada, so stuff is hard to get. I've had one rock that has bryopsis. I got some of you to help me diagnose this a few months ago.

Picked up some Flux Rx. Haven't dosed it yet. I tried removing the rock and scraping it, which caused more growth. But, for such a small amount on one rock, would you all advise to go ahead and dose Flux?

I only have LPS and softie corals in my tank.

Parameters are:

1.025
Nitrate 5
Dkh 9.3
Mg 1380
Ca 440

Any side effects from using Fluconazole? I don't wanna fix one problem to only get another, hence, why I'm reaching out again. I read thay sticky on fluconazole, and also some others on here. Just looking for some TLC lol.

I used it per the label and it worked wonders for me. Completely nuked my bryopsis.

I've never used fluconazole but I know it used to be common to raise magnesium levels in a tank to fight bryopsis. That may not be the route you want to take but maybe something to look into.

I used flux rx to nuke bryopsis, and it worked wonders. I did not experience any bad effect on corals (mixed reef). Had a bacteria bloom but it sorted itself out after a bit of time.
