Hey folks,
I believe i've asked this previously but inside a different context. I had a few strands of bryopsis a few weeks ago. I ordered reef flux and of course once it arrived the bryopsis was no where to be found, the strands were gone. I didn't see it so I didn't use the product. Skip forward a few weeks and its back, and back hard. I still have the reef flux. However, i'm stuck in a tough spot. RODI water right now is hard to come by with shops being closed and social distancing.I have about 20-25 gallons. I can either top off or mix new water for the big water change after the three week waiting period. The bryopsis is multiplying quickly and I don't want it to take over and smoother my corals, this would devastate my son. I have read mixed reviews about different species that eat bryopsis, each with different pros and cons and it seems that nothing guaranteed. Would like others experience with this to gauge my actions on how I proceed. Taking out and scrubbing or submerging in peroxide isn't an option unfortunately. This pandemics got me in a tough spot, should have resolved this initially.
