I two small patches of algea that I believe is bryopsis. I've tested the phosphate which reads zero. Best guess is that it came in on a frag. So far my yellow tang hasn't shown interest in the algae, looking for suggestions on how to eradicate it. I can take the frag out and treat it but the other patch is on a large piece of rock, probably 25 pounds, that I don't think I can safely remove.

Raise your MAG level to 1600 using Kent Tech M. until you see it yellow out and die.

I had bryopsis and green bubble algae come in on some drags from an online vendor once. The Kent Tech M option works, too.
I found out about the H2O2 option later which is much cheaper.

Will my sps be bothered by the peroxide? I have magnesium so I can easily raise it. I tested last week and it was at 1300.

Keep it at no more than 1ml per gallon. Remember to take away for sand and live rock if yo have any and add the volume of the fuge, if you have one.

I never had issues with hydrogen peroxide
