Hi! A couple of weeks ago I noticed this stringy algae growing on the base of my Caulastrea. I just plucked it at my regular waterchange, but after one week it has grown back over the base of the coral. It seems to be local to that spot.
Should I worry or is it just regular gha?
Thanks for any advice!

Looks like plain ole GHA to me. Cut back on your feeding and reduce your lighting.

I don't see a fern-like structure that would make me think Bryopsis. I've been able to get rid of trouble spots but hitting with peroxide. That is not a rock you can pull out and pour peroxide on is it? You could remove whats there then drain water out until it's exposed and hit it with peroxide.
If possible try and take some out. This is what Bryopsis looks like

Thanks for all the replies! After seeing the picture above Im certain its "just" gha. I cannot see any fernlike leaves. I guess I will just keep at it and pluck it out at the same time as I try to limit the nutrients. :)
The Caulastrea rock is not glued down so I could remove it and scrub the base outside of the tank.
