Bryopsis slowly taking over :(

im battling it as well in the Frag tank. freaking took over i gained controll for a while, its starting to come back again and stronger i gotta pick and scrub at least 2x a week.


im gonna try what Sea Monkey did 3:1 ratio with SW/HYDRO P , ill let you guys know the efffect. im gonna try it with a few Frags and monitor them over the next few days.

they can survive in clean water too, its like the Stuf is BULLET PROOF! lol.

Nitrates are 10-20ppm, salifert
alk 7.5-7.7 salifert
cal 400 salifert
mag 1400 salifert
PHOS .04 hanna / salifert

thats the only type of alage that is growing ATM, bought some lettuce nudis to help me out but there like dumb half the time and end up on the glass.... i clean the glass 3-4X a week. so glass always clean to my view.

we have a stary blenny he does no help, tons of mexican turbos no help, reg turbos no help, crabbs blue legg from small too big they do nothing as well. only 4 fish in the 60G DB tank , i barely Feed only 1 time a day and its mostly pellets.

if the dipping of most of my Frags dont work , im gonna do the Kent M ,

im gonna do 3 cups saltwater, 1cup Hydrogen peroxide

I mix1/4 cup Kent m tech with 1/8 cup hydrogen peroxide and use a feeding during and spray directly into infected area and mine is going away my mag levels are at 1800 no I'll effects. Persistence is the key with mag. I'm in a 75 gal btw

It seems like whenever I've set up a new tank, the big B all ways sprouts it's dirty stalk. Every time, I always use the same approach, a large Kent-M and zebra turbos. I add Kent 50ml a day till I hit 1800-1900, the tips of the bryopsis turn white, or my snails start acting more sluggish than usual.

Takes awhile but once the bryopsis starts it's decline, the turbos devour it. I think a few years back, I had a rabbit fish who wouldn't touch it till it started going down hill either.
