Can anyone tell me if this is Bryopsis ?

It doesn’t appear to have the “fern” like structures others describe . It is very firmly attached to the live rock and is hard to manually remove . Nothing in my tank eats it either .

I am thinking about trying Fluconazole but I want to be sure Bryopsis is what I’m dealing with .

And yes there is a bit of cyano growing on it , I assume for the nutrients being trapped by the thick growth .

Thanks

Kinda hard to tell, but doesn't really look like bryopsis. My guess is no

This is a perfect picture of bryopsis, sometimes a little lighter or darker green in my experience, but this is what the structure looks like...

I've had excellent success reading nuisance algae with high levles of magnesium. It is non-toxic to fish and coral and you can see its effects within a few days. That plus some manual removal did the trick for me.

I think it looks like turf algae also, I believe I read turbo snails will eat this. Also noticed my stomatela snails eating it also.
