Noticed this coming up on the back tank and front rock structure. I really hope it isnt what I think, but better to get a positive ID now.

I would say yes to Bryopsis.

Best treatment for this? I heard fluconazole. Never had briopsis before .
I wish I could give you a good answer, but I can't. The reason i know its Bryopsis is I also have been dealing with it. I have used Reef Flux twice on my tank and it is coming back a third time. The first time I used 1 tab per 10 gals, second time I used 1.5 tabs per 10 gals and left my skimmer off for 2 weeks, this worked better as it did get rid of it quicker and though it is coming back, it doesn't seem to have a good of a start as last time. Problem is it started to effect my Sps this time. I can't say it was the Reef Flux as both times it raised my P03 well above 50 ppm, but I can't say is wasn't. This time I am going to try Vibrant as my tank has finally reached stability and I don't want to mess with that.

@ReefSquad, is their another tool to use against Bryopsis?

But, Reef Flux has worked for some, so it may be just the type of Bryopsis.

My lawnmower, she cleaned all my rock of it. I dont think in this case there is enough of any types of algae to keep a lawmower alive.
Since the tank looks new just kill it with chemicals and start over.

Thanks for the tips everyone. Fortunately it isnt bad yet. I'll buy some right now!Any concern with corals or inverts?

Anytime you add something, you run the risk of something happening you do not want. Fluconazole is an antifungal medication. It kills.
