Introduced a bta 2 weeks ago to my tank. It hid for a while and finally came out. I want to supplement my led light with two t 5 bulbs , bur every time i tu4n on the t5's it withdraws and goes into hiding. I thought nems liked high light. Or doe it mean i have enough light and t5's would be to much

Your rbta is a little bleached. If you increase the light I would expect it to retreat. Let it color up a bit and then add in the light slowly (smaller durations) and ramp it up.

Mine was the same way when I got it.

I concur with @ihavecrabs

Looks to be a little bleached. The anemone normally will easily be able to handle additional light from the T5s but has lost some if its zoothanelle. Let it recover and then add in the T5 lighting

Thanks for the replies, when i first got it, oy hid for over a week under a rock. With luck it stays where it is, i feed it a few times a week it eats readily

Mine did the same thing. It was a baby that the mother had covered so it was super bleached.

Small foods that are easy to digest are best to help regain color and health, mysis a couple times a week would be good.

You could even shade screen over it if you want lights ramped higher for other tank occupants.

It looks good still other than being slightly bleached, and agree when it is back to health it will be better suited to make use of good lighting.
