I know carpets have done it but has anyone seen a BTA eat a hosting clown. One of my captive bread skunk clowns went MIA. It's an AIO tank.l so no sump and it screened so can't get out. Only have a few a snails and a half dozen RBTA's. Scratching my head on this one and actually quite annoyed.

Only way a clown would get eaten by a bubble tip or any host anemone is if they are sick/dying
Mostly likely the clownfish died and the clean up crew did it’s job

No cleanup crew in the tank. Just some cerith snails. It happened overnight. No other explanation other than it was eaten by the anemone it was hosting in.

Is there anyway it can get in the back chambers? Through or over the overflow? IME, as already mentioned, the only way a BTA is going to eat a clown is if the clown was already dying, and if one of them did eat it, it’ll likely throw it up as they usually have a hard time eating meals that big.
