My bta did that for around 2 weeks and then split. Now they both look great for over a month

Yes, I feed it 2-3 times a week.Glad to hear do you feed him every 3 days now
I appreciate; however, I already bought the Hanna test kit for alk, .ca, and phosphates.Looking much better than your first pic. Check out the Red Sea pro reef foundation test kit. It comes with Ca, Alk and Mg and a lot of reefers trust them, including me. It's a lot cheaper than buying the Hanna checkers for Ca and Alk(no Mg checker yet), but takes a bit more time for each test.
Yes, I concur. And thanks, I've seen a couple of those videos when I have time. Very informational, but some take too long.Glad to see he perked up! Specific numbers (in regards to your alk, Ca, Mg) may not be as important to your 'nem as they are to your coral, but overall stability is, just as it is to your corals and tank health in general. The trick is to find the levels that make your tank happy then work to keep them there.
If all the reading makes your head spin, try the BRS TV series. You can find on YouTube or link through the BRS website. They did a great job simplifying things for us "newbs".
Good luck!
Bigger water change, 25%, feed it, and under a Kessil as oppose to an orbit (which always suppose to "acclimate it"). Honestly, o believe the light was the biggest factor because before I would feed it once a week and my water was stable. But, it's only been good for about 4-5 consecutive days. I'll wait a little longer to claim victory.Did you do something specific to cause it to perk up? WC? Feeding?
I wish that was the case with mine. In any case, I'm just glad is doing better now. Thanks! My bta did that for around 2 weeks and then split. Now they both look great for over a month
I have all those too. I love the Hanna checkers.I appreciate; however, I already bought the Hanna test kit for alk, .ca, and phosphates.
What size tank do you have? What are your Kessil settings. I have Kessil also. That's why I am curious about the settings.Bigger water change, 25%, feed it, and under a Kessil as oppose to an orbit (which always suppose to "acclimate it").
