BTA flow

So I bought a small very healthy rbta yesterday. I turned off my wavemaker and put it in a spot that I liked. this morning it was very puffy and looking great, but after slowly ramping up my wavemaker it went deeper into the rock and deflated a bit(most bubbles shrunk a bit, and only a few bubbles remained). I slowly ramped it back down to have the strength. Should I let it be so that it moves to a different spot. I feel like it's just going to go deeper and deeper into that crevasse. Or should I try moving it to a spot with less flow, even though I probably shouldn't mess with it?

Tbh they will move where they want....for there flow light etc.

Leave it alone and let it sort out where it wants to be.

It’s just trying to find a nice foothold, and probably is readjusting to the higher flow. I just got a new one recently, luckily for me it only moved and inch and hasn’t moved at all since then

They respond to light and water flow.
Too much light or water flow will cause them to move around
Moderate light and water flow is adequate

Once stuck, put everything back to normal running conditions, and never touch it again.

Run the wave maker the way you want it. The nem will find its perfect spot. The more you play with flow the more it will move.
