BTA has split..

[H Street Reefer]

My BTA has split into two and is slowly taking over my red sea reefer nano. I would like to remove and sell one of them.

Any tips on how best to accomplish this? I've read it is best to point the power head directly at them to motivate them to move from their current home.

Any other tips? Much appreciated!

One of the best ways is to point a powerhead at it and let it remove itself. There are a bunch of YouTube videos on this.

There’s many different ways like holding the rock upside down, ice cube method and sometimes you can carefully peel the foot off. You can usually catch fresh splits when they are on the move
