BTA won’t inflate today is day three mouth is still shut he is attached to the rock really good mouth is closed my belief is that my cleaner shrimp was picking at him for food. pic of what he looked like and what he is now I just tried a little food won’t take it (I do not have established tank maybe close to 4 months the lfs sold it to me knowing It was not established so I have it didn’t know any better I do now though )

Try feeding your cleaner shrimp first so it don't go scavenging around as much.
I agree with above, don't overfeed, just let it find its place first if it's only been 3 days :)

Im sorry ive had my BTA for about 2months it’s been 3 days he has been acting like this

salt 1.026
Ph 8.0
Not sure about nitrates just did water change so can’t be too high

Getting water tested Tuesday

Yes don't worry to much but as said, try not to feed and this will also discourage/ stop your cleaner shrimp irratating it , sometimes they close up to do a pooh :)

Not overly unusual.
But good to check if conditions have changed.
They don’t need feeding so that solves the shrimp issue.
This one is 4 years old, maybe a piece of shrimp once or twice for fun.

Vert typical and feed only 1-2X per week.(mysis or chopped krill)

Really, all looks good with your numbers.
Maybe nutrients a bit low, but if stable, he will adapt.
Yup, a feed might trigger that process.
Congrats on your new addition.
Good report.

There could be a number of reasons for a split.
He doesn’t require anything but light, so if we stop feeding and they don’t split, likely the cause. I get the feeling you don’t want more.
A large increase in nutrients available can be another trigger.
Enjoy.

Thank you for your help I will definitely slow down my feedings

That's great news, it did not die so I think this is a better outcome, for me I would welcome the split being that it's happy to multiply :)
Thanks for the update

Yes it's no problems.
it's always best to ask before intervening, sometimes hands off approach is better and getting advice from others helps alot. Im also learning from you and your experiences
:)
