Hi all, need a little help here. I have posted before and after photos of my BTA. It seemed to be thriving for the first few weeks. I had to move my tank across the room and moved his rock into a brute barrel with tank water for less than 30 minutes. Params sal 1.026, alk 10.4, temp 79, nitrate 0, phos .04

Any help is appreciated.

Did you test your ammonia directly after the move?

How old is the tank, any other inverts in the tank- how are they doing, any chance of damage of the nem/foot from the move, what is your lighting like?

I moved the tank last weekend. I have the Seachem indicators and they never changed. Tank was set up the first week of March from an established tank, sand rock etc. No ammonia or nitrite as of yesterday.

I have a skunk cleaner, mexican turbos, hermits, astrea all doing well. I have a rock nem on the other side of the tank that looks fine too.

The tank is a 50g '36 wide with a 24' reefbreeders photon v2+ running at 75% peak.

Looking closer at the nem, mouth is open. Just looking for suggestions on the way forward from here.

Thanks!

Hi @bcarm

I am not a nem person so I can’t really give any advice. Should be folks around with experience tonight though.

A few #reefsquad members keep them as well.

Has it been that way since last weekend and the move? It's possible the flow is a little different after moving the tank and it's just unhappy.

Thanks all, yea on both Salifert and API tests Nitrates are not registering. i may need to weed out some of my Chaeto. Thanks again for all of the help I will just keep an eye on it.
