Salt level was alittle high so I added fresh water to it.

Yeah I got a deal on it and I also edit the picture. I have a small rose in the same tank that's perfect and idk what this ones deal is my clown keeps trying to go in it.

If you got it like that then it may have been on it's way out anyway. Nems that are bleached like that don't always recover no matter how good your water is.

What are the actual numbers for your parameters -- including salinity/SG.

Is this for your 10 gallon ?

Yes 10 gal only 2 clowns live rock and anemone the guy at lfs said the water is perfect so what's perfects numbers. Can it be from the clown messing with it?

No, that would not happen because of the clowns. What is your lighting like? I would advise you to buy your own set of test kits for all necessary parameters, as testing is an on going thing.

+1billion. Often (at least for FW) they will use strips which are pretty inaccurate. Also, they don't know what "normal" is the majority of the time.

My lfs has been in saltwater for 25 years he didn't use strips he used the actually test. And I have t5 high output I only have the blue lights on.

Good news! The mouth is starting to close up and it's getting some bubbles back!!! Thank you everyone that was here for me! That's why I love this forum! Reef2Reef all the way!!

Thing is, someone's "perfect" could be different than what is actual needed for anemone, do you at least know your SG/salinity? I would be very wary of any LFS that said your parameters were perfect without backing those up with numbers. Heck, I have been keeping anemone for close to 20 years now, and still use numbers and not "perfect"

Also, the clowns could be an issue if the size difference b/t the clowns and the anemone isn't large enough. Would want the anemone to be at least 3 times larger, more for a pair, then the clowns. I have seen clowns love an anemone to death.

I am guessing the SG is 33 ppt, though I keep mine at 36 for all of my tanks that have anemones.
