BTA in trouble, should i help?

As others have stated - let it be. You have a better chance of survival letting it be in your isolation box.

We refer to ours as a penalty box. We have a nem affectionally named "Komi" AKA: Kamikaze - this nem has tried to end its life multiple times in power-heads, melted to a heater and a couple of trips down the overflow into the sump. Every time we've rescued this "lost soul" placed it in the penalty box for a week or two and it's come back to health. Kami is now 4 years old and doing great hosting a mated pair of gold nugget clowns.

Don't give up hope, BTAs are extremely resilient.

Thanks for the story! I hope mine is a one off maniac and doesn't do it again!

But to all who's helped, thank you! Seriously, I thought I was smooth sailing than whammy, nem disaster. It's opened up a bit since last photo, so hopefully it'll pull through.
