I have a BTA that has moved to a rock and has tucked itself under the arm of my green tip Grape Cristata. It’s Reciving very little light now and has shriveled up. I’m worried about the two being so close in addition to the low light. And when i say close i mean within a cm of the cristata while shriveled. If it were to open they would be fully touching. Should i just let it be or should i try to move it to a different rock?

It'll take some time, but it'll likely figure out that it's not getting the light and/or flow it needs. What's been a pain for me is how long it's taken some in the past to figure that out, and how many corals they fought while finding that sweet spot. I tried moving a few some time ago, and they just let go and rode the currents to yet another location.

Thanks for your input. It resided in the same spot for about a year now. Just recently Its been on the move for a couple days now but has stopped in this spot for the past two. i just don’t want the Two to get in a fight.

I decided to slowly peel away the foot with a credit card and move it to another spot with good flow and light. He’s attached to the spot now and is starting to open up. Looking good.
